22nd Annual Beebe Ball

Annual fundraising event for Beebe Medical Center at Rehoboth Beach Convention Center. This year's proceeds will benefit the Women's Health Pavilion. Highlights of the evening are the elaborate table decorations, graciously done by local businesses and individuals who give many hours of time and personal funds to help support the Medical Center. Independent Film Festival

The five-day Festival now showcases approximately 100 of the best American and international films including features, documentaries, and shorts. Film enthusiasts enjoy the convenience of seeing all the films at one, multi-screen location. The Festival also offers informative seminars, opportunities to converse with celebrity guests, as well as special events. Activities for youth include a Student Film Series of student-produced films for high school and college students as well as a Children's Cinema Corner for elementary school-aged children.

Community Unity Spaghetti Dinner: A Main Street Event

Community Unity Spaghetti Dinner - December 6 from 4:00 PM- 7:00 PM- at the Convention Center, presented by Main Street and provided by the famous Nicola's Pizza. It's a fantastic meal, featuring spaghetti, meatballs, a salad bar, beverages and awesome desserts. There is entertainment by the Tim Laushey Trio plus a Santa for kids of all ages. Hometown Christmas Parade

Monday evening along Rehoboth Avenue beginning at 6:30 p.m. A local tradition, the parade will feature more music, more costumes and more fun than ever, with volunteers from the Fire Department, Police, Public Works and community organizations. Dozens of local groups, bands and participants have already signed up. Line-up starts at 4:00 The parade begins at State Road, travels East to the Boardwalk and the turns West and goes back up to the Convention Center. Polar Bear Plunge

2010 Chocolate Festival

From 11:30 am- 3:30 p.m. (or when the chocolate runs out!) there will be family fun, great vendors, baking contest and tastes of sinful desserts baked by some of the finest restaurants, chefs and chocoholics in Rehoboth and Lewes. Fireworks 2010!

A Main Street Event: Fireworks 2010 Fireworks to be launched from the beach & seen all up and down the Boardwalk & shoreline. Fireworks time is approximately 9:15. Come into town the easy way - take the Shuttle from Route One at County Bank, beginning at 5 p.m. Jolly Trolley Shuttle Service will operate 8:00 AM until about 2:00 AM.
