This year's proceeds will benefit the Women's Health Pavilion. Highlights of the evening are the elaborate table decorations, graciously done by local businesses and individuals who give many hours of time and personal funds to help support the Medical Center. Independent Film Festival 11/11/2009 - 11/15/2009 The five-day Festival now showcases approximately 100 of the best American and international films including features, documentaries, and shorts. Film enthusiasts enjoy the convenience of seeing all the films at one, multi-screen location. The Festival also offers informative seminars, opportunities to converse with celebrity guests, as well as special events. Activities for youth include a Student Film Series of student-produced films for high school and college students as well as a Children's Cinema Corner for elementary school-aged children. It's a fantastic meal, featuring spaghetti, meatballs, a salad bar, beverages and awesome desserts. There is entertainment by the Tim Laushey Trio plus a Santa for kids of all ages. Dozens of local groups, bands and participants have already signed up. Line-up starts at 4:00 The parade begins at State Road, travels East to the Boardwalk and the turns West and goes back up to the Convention Center. Fireworks time is approximately 9:15. Come into town the easy way - take the Shuttle from Route One at County Bank, beginning at 5 p.m. Jolly Trolley Shuttle Service will operate 8:00 AM until about 2:00 AM.
